A review is less extensive than an audit but more involved than a compilation, and consists primarily of analytical procedures, inquiries, and other procedures to obtain limited assurance regarding the financial statements. This service is designed to provide users of financial statements with a level of comfort regarding their accuracy.
Compilation Services
In a compilation engagement, we assist our clients in preparing financial statements that are compliant with professional standards. Since no audit or review procedures are applied, no assurance is provided.
Agreed-Upon Procedures
An agreed-upon procedures engagement involves the performance of specific procedures regarding specified elements of financial statements, certain transactions, or other analyses required by the client. Results of testing are reported, but no assurance is provided. These services are often appropriate in connection with contractual relationships.
